squid? no thanks.

I so don't wanna get into a habit of uploading photos from my mobile phone. one of the reasons I started this blog was to get into photography a bit more and this is just a huge step, maybe even a leap backwards in photography.
not to mention that this is a crappy photo even for iPhone standards but there is something about this photo that I like.
I guess it's because Kou-chan was more interested in the squiggly reflections the water made on the floor rather than the swimming squids. I mean come on, squids!! to me they are one of be weirdest creatures in the sea.

so yes, we took Kou-chan to the aquarium on the weekend; his first. maybe a tad young to fully enjoy this underwater wonderland but daddy sure had a blast.

next post will be a proper one, I promise.

By his excitement you would have thought he was actually in there with the squids!

Arn't squids just so weird?! I mean they can change color, squirt out ink, and kinda fly through the water instead of swimming.

I think it was worth it too, you look hot! (I can say that now since you are single). hope you two ended on good terms; he seemed a nice guy.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did jump in there with those squids. When we were looking at the starfish pool he was pretty eager to dive into the tank (汗)
actually thinking about taking him to swimming lessons as he absolutely loves the water.

cute squids?! I don't think squids can ever be considered cute. Arn't they just so weird.
(I'm a tad drunk at the moment, hope I'm making sense. )
and yes, my family and friends are all well. I just can't get over the devastation caused by this earthquake. so many people from so many countries effected...

Glad to know you and your loved ones are fine. When disasters happen, we try and get what comfort we can, and pray for the best.

And squids can be cute... just don't make me go near them... :P
