no photo to end my last post for my week long daily blog challenge.
I feel sick. ate way to much delish Italian and drunk too much Italian wine.
very hard to say "no" to your boss in japan.
yes, my boss invited me out for dinner and went on a bit of a splurge at a fancy restaurant in aoyama.
my god, I seriously ate way too much.
just wanna get home and loosen my belt, actually take my pants off and change into some roomwear.
thinking to drive up to Nagano tomorrow night after work.
will still have to go home first and get kou-chan fed, bathed, and hopefully asleep before starting the 3 hour journey.
I so better not have a hangover tomorrow...

hahaha....i felt like that monday night.Have a happy trip. I hate long drives unfortunately I make them a lot. Arent you so happy your daily posts are over. Its so much easier reading and making comments. I was thinking about succulents for japan. Doesnt it snow there? Anyway i would recommend sempervivums because then you dont have to worry about moving them inside during the cold some varieties can tolerate below freezing temperatures...in a way they kinda remind me of proteas only the soft feathery types.. My favorite succulents are graptopetalums vibrantly colored hybrid echeveria and the shadey variety of aeoniums(they come in green and purple).MMMMMmmmm wine that reminds me i have a bottle that needs to be finished off.
wos: yout boss must have taken you to a nice place! but the company could have been better! haha,
Have a fun and safe trip :)
shellie!: you know so much about so many things! I am so impressed! I don't know half the names you mentioned up there... :p
pascale im sure there are plenty of things you know lots about that iam completely in the dark about!
happy to hear that you indulged!
but i hope you feel better from it too! heheh
:-)
tabesugi? oh man i know the feeling! i´m usually very good at eating healthy food, but my problem is that once i start to eat something not so healthy, it´s like i CAN´T stop before i´ve had waaay too much and feel sick afterwards!
* shellie
ooh thanks for all those names! i had to look each one up as i had no idea what so ever what you were talking about.
you'll be happy to know i have a healthy and handsome purple aeoniums growing in my apartment.
actually these are really popular here and i've noticed many people have them growing in pots in their gardens.
and yup, it does snow a bit here in tokyo.
mmm, might get myself some more succulents! i'm on a roll!
* pascale
yes, it's always difficult to totally relax in the company of your boss; impossible in fact!
* make it easy
a quick shower and loads of water before going to sleep seems to help me.
oh, and a big class of water when i wake up!
how do you get over your hangovers?
* luuworld
yup, tabesugi alright! (and nomisugi...)
when i have a sweet craving i'm a bit like you and can't stop myself from eating too much.
always regret it afterwards...
about the hangover: water before going to bed and after i wake up is great. plus sleep! if i get enough sleep i don´t feel bad the day after :)
Hooray! Congrats on finishing the week of blogging! And for me the best hangover prevention cure is pretty much what you recommended - a nice hot shower (but much longer in my case, I love the massaging effect of the steamy blasts of water) and a lot of water to rehydrate. :)
to get over a hangover, i just stay in bed ALL day with water and no sunlight. i turn into a vampire. hahah
* luuworld
sleep used to be one of my cures too until kou-chan turned up. I literally dream of the day when I can sleep in (which will actually happen in 2 weeks time (I'll be home alone for a few days)
* make it easy
vampire sounds good.
bright sunlight is so not wanted when one has a hangover. same said for any loud noises!
