hakuta

i think my boy takes after me on the cafe front; likes a relaxing cafe, delish cafe food and maybe in time a good strong coffee.

not far from one of our favorite parks we found cafe hakuta tucked away in a quiet back street.
initially i thought we had made a bad choice as although the cafe was pretty full it was quiet and we were the only ones with a not-so-quiet nearly two year old. then glancing at the menu it said that we weren't allowed to feed our kid food bought from home. to me this is one of those rules which us parents know about and don't need to be told. just leaves a bad taste in your mouth if you know what I mean.

anyway, we sat down and enjoyed a nice lunch and coffee and kou-chan was happy driving around and parking his rubbish truck and fire engine on the table in amongst our plates, cups and magazines.

cafe hakuta is worth checking out if you're in the area.

can never go too wrong with lots of wood if you ask me.
sitting in a relaxing cafe flicking through interior magazines makes me crave my own home. one day...

i remember my first sip of coffee when I was a kid at primary school. I so wanted to drink coffee like the grown-ups but my mum said that if I drunk the coffee it would give me nightmares. of course I drunk it and of course I had nightmares that night.

now I'm addicted... seriously I get a headache if I don't get my morning coffee.
