Little Lights

for the last few nights the sea in front of my apartment has been awash with lights.
no, it's not something out of the movie cocoon (god that's really showing my age...) but instead these lights are thousands, no hundreds... well not quite, but lots of fishing boats. cool huh?!

i'm no fisherman, but fishing at night, with lights, can obviously mean they are on the hunt for squid... or cuttlefish. i have no idea what the difference is...

anyway i'm glad that i get this little illuminated show each night for free.
i kinda feel like they are doing it for my pleasure.

i have a bit of a home party planned for later next month, let's hope those squid stay around for it!

i remember the film cocoon! guess it shows i'm no spring chicken...haha

great view you have from your window. nice shot too! i can imagine it must be cool to see the boats move around.

you must be pretty well off to live with such a wonderful view. lucky you!

thanks for stopping by!
yup, but more so than all the little boats and big cruise liners steaming past, it's a great window for watching the seasons change.
