Canonet

my canonet may have just become a book end...

before i even finished my first roll of film this little piece of 1961 history has decided he's not up for the fast lane of today's digital generation.

before he becomes another handsome model on the shelf, i wonder if i should take him in for a once-over?

i was so looking forward to seeing what his roll would turn out like...

come to think of it, canonet sounds kinda girlie.

maybe he needs to a spell of contemplation on your bookshelf rather than action right now -
as long as he's on display, not hidden away..

my pentax k1000 spends most of her time on a shelf in our lounge.
old school canons are just so photogenic :)

shame about the roll though :(

I thought your canon was a girl :)

you might be right about needed some "time-out".
at least he's looking pretty proud on the shelf.
pentax k1000 is a nice camera too! definitely a bit of eye-candy there!

oh what a good looking canon this is!
i recently bought a canon that was made in the same year as i was born but this one looks more charming. sorry about the roll though :(
and thank you so much for your sweet comment for my birthday.ありがとうございました!

i love the look of the canonet!
i am so sad to hear that he/she is not working, i think i would cry if any of my cameras decided to stop functioning!
try to fix it!!

that's cool that you found a camera made in the same year you were born! mmm, wonder what cameras were made in 76?!

yes, i was in utter shock when "it" stopped working. when i have some spare time on my hands i'm gonna have a bit of a jiggle with it and see if i can get it working again.
i have two beautiful cameras which i'm trying to "restore" so my hands are tied!
(my "restore" means to give them a good clean!)
