Quite a happy offspring you have there. He seems to be having a lot of fun. Where'd you pick those cherry tomatoes? Oh, they are cherry tomatoes, right?

it was actually not a very good summer this year, we had a real mixture of weather but at least it was warmer than the freezing temperatures in Tokyo.

he absolutely loved it back in nz and loved being in barefeet and running around after suzie the cat.
was a bit of a mission getting him to wear his shoes again once we got back to japan.

time sure flies- kou chan is so big! so where in the country are you from? the place where you took the pics looks great. give me a sandy beach and i'm sold! :)

love the thing kou-chan does with his eyebrows in one of the pics. i used to do that too in my baby pics. looks like a serious old man. haha

he looks like he is having the most fun ever...simple stuff is the best. we plant tomatoes every year and i have to shoo the kids away sometimes because they will eat every last one. i loved all these pictures and i adore spanish lavender. it must be so beautiful there.

I'm from a place called the "bay of plenty" or as the locals say, BOP.
and it really is a bay of plenty.
plenty of sun, sand, surf, fruit, and errr, old people due to it's warm stable climate.

it is a beautiful place and I'm very lucky to be able to call it "home".
sometimes I wish kou-chan could grow up in a place like nz rather than Tokyo... he absolutely loved it over there running around in barefeet chasing the cat and just enjoying the simple pleasures in life.
