lots of food & a huge fork

the past few weeks have been tough...

i'm slap-bang right in the middle of a huge fork in the road. the consequences of my decision will not only effect my life, but also the life of k-chan and my soon to be born son.

how's that for heavy!

should i take the road to the left?

mmm, the one to the right looks pretty good though.


for the time being my motor has stalled and i'm parked on the center-line.

parked on this center line is giving me gray hairs, sleepless nights and panda eyes.
i kinda need to make a decision asap before i wilt into nothing, but i can't yet come to a solid conclusion. i'm nearly there...



anyway, the last few days have been slightly more bearable as i've had my sister and her spanish boyfriend over to stay.
i'm sure i've put back on all the lost weight with the amount of dining and wining we have done.

we even escaped hong kong and shot over to macau for some portuguese comida (food)

thanks for stopping by.
yup, the last drink is a personal favorite. i usually don't drink coke but when it's heated up it's surprisingly good! the added ginger chunks and lemon slices make its "feel" a bit more healthy. i always think this would go down well if i had a cold.

maybe i should go try some real exotic foods over here; turtles, snakes, swallow nests...

Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your son. Life gets very exciting with small people present. As I am obviously meant to be packing for trip home unable to go and read back further.

The food all looks fabulous. Hub is out tonight so the kids and I are dining on yakisoba. How gourmet but it's one thing I don't have to spend an hour trying to get them to finish.

That fork - go left.

you will be thousands of feet up in the air about now but i hope your flight was a smooth one.
hahaha, yakisoba is such a great dish, we often have it too. do your kids put kwepie on their yakisoba too?

OMG! in toronto, we have a restaurant that is called din tai fung as well, and they serve shanghainese food. Is that coincidence? Or, does the name of that restaurant a common name????
My chinese is so bad! I wouldn't know what the name of that restaurant meant if you asekd me! I just know how to say the sounds!

I hope all this delicious food will help you decide in your fork in the road.

yes, i think it is a coincidence! i know this restaurant has a store in LA, not quite so sure about toronto though. do they serve up these amazing dumplings too? actually this shop is originally from taiwan; amazing stuff.

sorry, i have been MIA at your blog for quite some time. the newborn is keeping me busy! but like you, we have the baby in our room for now. we are going through a transitional phase and we're all crammed into a 1,000 sq foot apartment in Toronto for now-which is considered huge space in Toronto.
